Chronology of cameras Burke and James

The Burke & James 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 press camera is the "miniature" version of the 4 x 5 model.

It possesses all the features of the larger model, except for the lack of a rotating back.

Its catalog price in 1946, without a lens, was $54.10. Adding a lens and shutter easily doubled this cost.

This camera does not have a rangefinder. It comes equipped with a Voigtlander Skopar lens of 105 mm, with an aperture of f/3.5, mounted on a Compur-Rapid shutter.
